About Villanova

Villanova University was founded in 1842 by the Order of St. Augustine. To this day, Villanova’s Augustinian Catholic intellectual tradition is the cornerstone of an academic community in which students learn to think critically, act compassionately and succeed while serving others. There are more than 10,000 undergraduate, graduate and law students in the University’s six colleges.

Connelly Center

Welcome to the Connelly Center at Villanova University.

The Connelly Center is designed to serve the cultural, social, recreational, religious, and co-curricular needs of Villanova University students, faculty, staff, alumni, and university friends. The facility and the programs that take place in the Connelly Center are designed to enrich the lives of all who use this facility.

Construction of the Connelly Center was made possible by a gift from the Connelly Foundation of Philadelphia. In recognition of John and Josephine Connelly, principal donors of the foundation, the building was named Connelly Center.

The building contains nearly 67,000 square feet of building space. The facility includes an art gallery, information center, several lounges, cinema, meeting rooms, a five-hundred seat multi-purpose room, cyber lounge, coffee shop, ice cream shop, multi-tiered dining facility and several offices.
